It looks like the Man of Steel is coming back to the small screen this fall. When CBS moved their freshman series Supergirl from their flagship channel over to The CW (a network co-owned by Warner Bros.), series star Melissa Benoist assured fans that the show will remain the same; that no drastic changes would occur. However, it looks like there will be at least one noticeable change. The CW announced on Monday that Superman will be properly featured in the first two episodes of their new superhero series, which stars Benoist as the eponymous hero....

Riverdale began as Pretty Little Liars was coming to an end. With the two in such proximity and the ages of the characters about the same, fans quickly compared the two mysteries. Starting with a missing person later labeled a death, those left in the small town deal with the consequences. However, while Riverdale uses the set up to determine who killed Jason Blossom, Pretty Little Liars used it to kickstart “A’s” presence in Spencer, Hanna, Emily, and Aria’s lives....

These days, as soon as a movie is a quantifiable box office success, the studio hires someone to write a sequel. Sometimes, a movie is so overwhelmingly successful that a sequel is a no-brainer and they fast-track it into development – for example, Black Panther. But other times, it’s not quite successful enough to make a sequel a priority – for example, Don’t Breathe – and if the original doesn’t prove to have lasting value or the cast doesn’t agree on the script, they end up getting stuck in development hell....

Riding high (no pun intended) on the surprise success of their high school comedy Superbad, screenwriters Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg were quick to get their next movie, a stoner action comedy called Pineapple Express, into production. This time, Rogen wasn’t too old to play the lead, as he had been with the Jonah Hill role in Superbad, so he played Dale Denton, while his old Freaks and Geeks co-star James Franco was brought in to play the wacky dealer Saul Silver....

The Witcher has proven to be one of the most popular series to ring in the new year, which shouldn’t surprise any fans who were eagerly anticipating its premier just before Christmas.
